Is the DU payment system safe?

I know this site was hacked back in Nov-- Just wondering if my credit card info will be stored securely.

Also, please tell me how much y'all donated-- I live on a fixed income and every dollar I make goes to food and bills.

I also donated after the hack ... used pay pal and have no problems (admittedly, thus far)

They use PayPal, no credit cards are ever stored or seen by DU hardware/software.
