But my overall point is this: don't for a moment expect him to change what he's doing in response to try to boost his approval numbers. Oh, no, he'll keep right on trashing everything and just whine the media poisoned everyone against him, sore losers, get over it, illegal immigrants skewed the polls, you name it - anything but ever take an ounce of responsibility.

1. Two things:

1) totally agree about the Constitution, but the flag part would upset deplorables.
2) he will probably establish an official Ministry of Polling that will show his "official" approval numbers are at about 90%

2. It's troubling in one sense. That's higher than the percentage of votes...

that he received in the election after the non-voters are taken into consideration.

In other words, his supporters might be largely sticking by him no matter what... at least for now.

Assuming that all of his voters approve of him (for the sake of argument), he would only need about 23% approval from the non-voters to have a 36% approval rating.
