Fox Philadelphia anchor suspended for saying Conway 'good at bullshit'

A Philadelphia television morning show host was suspended Thursday after saying President Trump senior adviser Kellyanne Conway was "good at bullshit."

The reprimand came after Fox 29's "Good Day Philadelphia" co-host Alex Holley asked Mike Jerrick and two guests on set what Conway meant when she said "alternative facts" earlier in the week.

"It means she's good at bullshit," replied Jerrick, who has been on television for more than 30 years.

Jerrick did not appear on "Good Day" on Wednesday or Thursday morning before it was reported by Philadelphia magazine later Thursday that Jerrick, 67, had been suspended from the show for an indefinite period, citing the host. Jerrick confirmed the suspension to the magazine.

Fox Television Stations said in a statement that it had addressed the incident but didn't give specifics.

“This is not in line with FOX Television Stations guidelines,” the statement said.

She fools the fools, but that's it. No one else is buying it.

So, yeah, I probably would have dressed him down for that, myself.

Conway is terrible at the bullshit. Incredibly clumsy. In her defense, though, there is probably no way to make it sound good.

TV stations with FCC licenses are very sensitive about "profanity" on the air. Especially from a staff member.

Saying things that are not politically correct. If he was president it would be OK I guess.
