(31,168 posts)Good Luck with that, but I know better. You just know the only states that will be targeted are the blue states.

from Vanity Fair:
Spicer, in his comments to the press, appeared to narrow the scope of the investigation even more, suggesting that the bulk of alleged voter fraud may have occurred in California and New Yorktwo overwhelmingly Democratic states that have not voted for a Republican presidential candidate since the 1980s.
We didnt look at those two states in particular, said Spicer. As the president has noted before, he campaigned to win the Electoral College, not the popular vote, Spicer said, apparently by way of explanation. You would have campaigned more in California, which he didnt; you would have campaigned more in New York, which he didnt. There are big states, very populous states and urban areas where you would have spent more time campaigning, but he played the game according to the rules of the game, which is the electoral strategy.
Spicer continued: That being said, I think when you look at where a lot of the potential issues could have occurred, in these bigger states, I think thats where were going to look.

(4,787 posts)Is Trump going to hire people to do this? Will the states even give them access to private data to do a review that they don't think is necessary? If this ever gets to a point where there's actually some regulatory specifics, my guess is that Jerry Brown et al will tell them to go pound sand, and then go to court if necessary.
This is the case with most of his flurry of EOs: no action can be taken by the Trump House to follow through on or enforce them until there's details or actual regulations (as needed) to go with his 'bold' decisions.

Registration every month is a good goal no matter what they do.

(3,148 posts)Saw this coming from a mile away. Donny lying about illegals voting was the groundwork to enact more voter disenfranchisement.
