A no name person on twitter posted that she was going to vote for Jeff Sessions and bunch of people on social media and DU jumped down her throat.
There was literally no truth to that statement.
In this age of twitter and facebook, a responsible journalist and a random person are given the same level of credibility. Knowing that try to give Democrats the benefit of the doubt before you attack them and spread misinformation.
I am not just addressing this to people on the Feinstein thread, but this is an overall issue. If you want to see progress made, support the progressives who are fighting for you. Even if you don't always agree with them on all issues.
We killed HRC with these tactics, by never giving her the benefit of the doubt. Let's try not to kill everyone else too.

tho, to be honest, at least here people who take the bait usually get it slapped out of their mouths. or we try to.
but, yeah, i think it is a liberal thing to never resist an "outrage", whatever that might be.
