is not a sure thing on Canada's side now.. Depending on what Trump has in mind for a "deal" and the low cost of oil may scrap it anyway..

and the White House's language notwithstanding, I don't understand the focus on permanent jobs vs. temporary jobs. Over time, I've seen a lot of posts write off large projects like this because the construction jobs are "only temporary." Well, yes? That's the nature of construction jobs. Discounting them makes no sense. The more construction there is, the easier it is for people in construction to work full time.

He would say how many jobs during the project and how many long term.

We are not going to see that from this administration. I don't recall the numbers, but Obama did report it when he made the final decision to oppose the keystone.
