Obama had a positive message in 2008. He won because people wanted to be for him, regardless of who his opponent was.
This time, I saw all variations "vote for us or you suck" all over social media. It doesn't work. People in the Dem base may not care, but

And yes, I voted for HRC, as I voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012, and Kerry in 2004.

These faux progressives pretty much expected us on the center-left to beg and plead for their votes, all while hurling insults at us that were so vicious, they would make a right-winger blush. Do you think we all need constant reminders of that because we are likely to forget it without those reminders? While I suppose that there are a few DU members, given the tens of thousands who are registered here, who are confused about that concept, if this will be a major theme of yours here for four years how many do you think that will be educating? Now if instead you are speaking to those who believe that Hilary Clinton was not the best candidate who Democrats could have nominated last year, yes there are still many of those here. And no doubt there will once again be Democratic primaries in 2020, unless anyone is advocating for abolishing them and wants to start a movement to that effect.
