It creates a scenario that totally validates his lies. By that, I mean it makes them more convincing to a lot of people. A subset of self proclaimed liberals support tougher voter registration requirements and other barriers.
If they start thinking republicans do it too because of Steve Bannons dual registration, then comes cries from Democrats that MI was stolen and just enough people get on board the voter limits train.
