It makes my head ache, seeing the number of posts elsewhere from Trump supporters calling for unity because "Hey, we had to put up with Obama for eight years!"

Once I get done holding my head and unclenching a fist that basically wants to knock them down a flight of stairs, what I have to say is this:

"We voted for a first term Senator and community organizer who cared about politics. You voted for a bozo who not only has never held office but is completely ignorant of how politics works.. and proud of it."

"We voted for a guy who came into office with the best intentions for all Americans. You voted for a guy who was very clear from the outset that he was only going to help one subset of the population: his supporters and benefactors. All of his moronic 'thank you' rallies post-election were in shithole loser red states."

"We voted for a guy who tried his best to work with the opposition. You voted for an asshole who gets off on being rude and who doesn't give a shit about anyone not in his immediate circle. And I'm not so sure he even give's rat's ass about his third wife."

"We voted for a guy cleanly elected twice with a clear majority. You voted for an oaf who didn't win the popular vote and was literally installed by the Russian government with help from the FBI, and of course you don't see a problem with that, but the Benghazi bullshit was worth endless investigations and tax dollars wasted."

"We voted for a guy who took untold amounts of abuse from you people, as you squealed endless torrents of nonsense and lies to demean and deride him as a socialist Muslim Kenyan. You said he would implement Sharia Law. You said he would take our guns away (I own guns and know how full of shit you were). You said he would declare himself a dictator, give the country over to ISIS (or even founded ISIS!)

And now you sit there lying that you always accepted the legitimacy of his Presidency so we have to do the same with Trump. FUCK OFF. I don't have to do a goddamned thing you people advise me to; in fact, I am enjoying applying a boot to your sorry collective asses."

"We voted for a guy who went out of his way to help the unfortunate and downtrodden via a health care plan to make their lives better. And you monkeys flung your own feces over how horrible that was even though his very plan came from MY OWN REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY." You made it clear that whatever Obama proposed, you would try to piss all over it. That's why you clowns declared your intention to make him a one-term President from the get-go.

"We voted for a guy who did what the past Republican President couldn't: he took down and killed one of America's greatest threats, Osama Bin Laden. And you fucking crybabies insisted he had nothing to do with it, but somehow, magically, it all happened thanks to Bush/Cheney several years after the fact."

"We voted for a guy who was the epitome of grace and charm for all eight years, and YOU voted for an emotionally unstable, unintellectual dipshit who makes a crying three year old look Presidential. Sad!"

"We voted for a guy who has been married to the same woman for 25 years now; no affairs or scandals. You voted for a complete fucking scumbag who has run through three wives and cheated on all of them (I'll admit I'm guessing on the third since at 45 Melania is probably too old for this pervert-in-chief and if you watch her body language towards him in public it is clear she loathes him). But oh, you howled your little heads off about all of Bill Clinton's extramarital affairs, and now you try to pretend if we didn't care about his CONSENSUAL activity you shouldn't be concerned by the fact that..."

"YOU voted for a guy who has been caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women. Not seducing them. Not romancing them. ASSAULTING them. This complete piece of shit ogled teenage girls and made remarks about how he would be dating them in ten years. And you pretend it's just 'locker room talk,' whine about Bill Clinton and insist all of the women coming forward to accuse Trump were just "paid off."

To which I say, "I have a daughter, and go fuck yourself. If Trump ever looked at my daughter and said 'I'll be dating her in ten years,' his life expectancy would be measured in bare seconds. Secret Service or not. It would take ten agents to get my hands pried away from his throat."

So Trump supporters can spare me their weeping about how much agony they went through having to deal with a strong, smart, capable, gracious, fair-minded leader in the White House for the past eight years, when what they wanted was a screaming right-wing toddler hurling them ice cream cones and lollipops.

Eloquent and to the point...I am still in utter shock at the refusal of these Stepford Wife automatons to see the reality of what "they" have done to all of us. President Obama has been the most gracious and elegant leader during my lifetime and now it just feels like I have entered into a different Universe where up is down, lie is truth because "we say so". I am feeling quite dark about what lies ahead for us as I watch each day unfold and realise there seems to be no limit to what becomes normal and acceptable to these people. I live in a very remote spot and right now that is of great comfort to me as I retreat from the pre-Orange world in which I knew how to live and this new bullshit dystopian nightmare that we are now finding ourselves.

I've tried for some time now to try and figure everything out. I really have a tough time trying to remotely rationalize their mindset. They really are a broken group of deplorables.
