WASHINGTON -- Tim Pawlenty has once again asserted that he is not interested in being Mitt Romney's vice president.
In an interview with CBS' "Face The Nation," Pawlenty revealed that he told Romney's campaign to look at other choices.
“I indicated that I think I can best serve Gov. Romney in other ways, in particular as a volunteer and surrogate speaker in places where he can't go,” Pawlenty said. "I've encouraged people who've asked this question to, in the campaign, to look at other prospects.”
Back in February, Pawlenty made it clear that VP was not a position of interest. In an interview with Fox & Friends, he noted that he had effectively taken himself off the list.
