Issa's really a vindictive manipulator. Operates right at the edge of Congressional ethics, if not personal ethics as well.

Of course, his unethical eye was on the Governor's seat

The party made him drop out, so Gropenfuher could run. I still remember seeing him in tears that he was not going to run for Governor during the recall.

I wonder what they promised him?

Oh wait. He didn't have to do so, since it is on Congressional record. Form your own opinions about his character and motives.

I think Issa is a two-faced, hypocritical jerk, until I read this, and then I realize he's a lying, criminal idiot that is too stupid to realize he will get caught being a lying criminal.

did all these so-called "journalists" call him out on this fact?

Of course not because, as they tell us, their shows are "entertainment" not necessarily "news".

by behind.

Endless coverage, then no one tells the side where Issa not only knew about it, but voted to fund it - as long as it was under a Republican.

I'm waiting for a water cooler Republican to bring this up, but so far, they seem oddly reluctant.

We'll see.

ala Traficant.

If he's wasting taxpayer's money on a partisan witchhunt, then he has to answer to his peers.

Hadn't thought of that, but you are absolutely right in the way both cases parallel.

Wonder how Republicans will react to the similarity of the cases?

In order to get Holder and the DOJ off of Arpiao's but. If the illegal gun sells have been prosecuted in Maricopa county but they don't do those type of cases, just existing while being Latino.
