I attended a Dance Recital last night ...

And experienced something that the media should take notice of when they promote the "Hispanic vote" narrative and offer up Rubio as the gop/romney answer ....

The recital was held in Tucson, AZ. The dance troupe was 98% "Hispanic." Likewise, the audience was 95+% "Hispanic."

The final dance routine was entitled "Viva La Mexico", though I don't believe most of those in attendence knew it (You had to buy a program and most people didn't make the purchase for this free event).

The routine had the dancers carrying the flags of various "Hispanic Countries" (from which the dance troupe members hailed). The first flag that came out was that of the Dominican Republic ... the crowd didn't notice; the second flad that came out was that of Puerto Rico, there was a smattering of applause. The 3rd flag that was presented was that of Cuba ... while there was very little applause, I (and my wife) could swear I heard some boos.

The final flag was that of Meixco. This flag was met with a thundering applause.

Maybe because this is Tucson ... less than an hour from the US/Mexico Border... but my experience last night suggested that anyone pretending that the "Hispanic Vote" is a politically cohesive group (particularly with respect to immigration), AND is represented by "Hispanics" like Rubio and his policy positions, should be immediately ignored ... if not reported to the propoganda police.
