Total worldwide tally of demonstrations and demonstrators?
I'd do this, but I'm too lazy, and I really have to get some work done today.
Just take the posts here and elsewhere on the intertubes noting a protest along with the numbers. My guess is that the total number will be over 3 million worldwide.
My wife made an observation about the turnout in DC. She posted on the official march cite that she would be attending. She did. Along with our two kids. So three for the pledge of one. I'm sure others have done the same, to say nothing of those people who just showed up. She was on Capitol Hill this morning when the stream of protesters in pink hats started showing up. At first they were on the sidewalks. By mid morning they were 15 abreast in the street. Late morning, she made it to a spot near the Capitol, and no one could move - wall to wall people. Great solidarity, and commitment to continued resistance.
