The Obama campaign has created a web video based on a Washington Post report that Bain Capital invested in companies that facilitated outsourcing jobs to cheaper labor markets overseas. The video splices quotes from the article with Mitt Romney saying I know why jobs come and why they go. The video ends with text that reads: America doesnt need an outsourcing pioneer in the oval office.
The Romney campaign denies the accuracy of that report.

(50,349 posts)The ads this election are really good, better than than the last one, imo.
They are making their points succinctly without extraneous stuff that can take away from the message.

(1,698 posts)This is a great ad. However, I think they need a respected and trusted voice to speak the parts one has to read. There are a lot of lazy people out here who just will not read anything.

(11,087 posts)Lots of people just listen to these ads. If I'm looking at something else, or in the kitchen making a sandwich, this ad fails to make its point. You have to actively read it for it to work. That is an important conceptual flaw. It has to have narration.

I know people who can't read very well, and will not bother to look at all this print.
Keep the visuals as they are, but add a voice-over summarizing the articles.
