They are moving out of Pioneer square and are stopping Tri-Met buses. They hope to bring the city to a standstill.
Go protesters!!!!!! I'm home with my grandkids and have so much ice I can't get my car out of the drive.

(25,183 posts)Screw not only with the people of a state that has voted reliably Democratic since 1984, but with the very area that was responsible for the state going that way.
Drumpf must be laughing his ass off at the way that the protests have been going. I know the 'deplorables' now feel morally superior to the people they beat in the election.

In my lifetime, I've seen two really divisive elections (1968 and 1980) that resulted in some nasty demonstrations taking place after them. Then, I saw the winners in those years get reelected by very large Electoral College majorities.
