I had it on in the background. I like what the Huffington Post just said about it - that it offered a "dark vision for America."

speech. He is planning to simply run for office for 4 years and pretend he's fighting against those in power, when he is in power.

Plus, there were some scary things in there - eradicate radical Islam? I know he added radical, but what about other extremists in religion? Countries must look after their own interests, despite damage to the world? Build up defense? The only thing good about the speech was it was pretty short.

I didn't watch the fucking speech. But I got emails from a couple of old friends who are retired teachers, and they were livid at trump's comment. I know for a fact that both these friends were in the habit of buying school supplies for poor kids from their limited salaries, over the years. The colossal nerve of that selfish, clueless prick, stating that our education system is somehow awash with money. I didn't think I could hate him to a greater degree---but he made it possible.
