Washington's Metropolitan Police Department clashed with anti-Donald Trump protestors Thursday night outside of the National Press Club building.

According to the eye witnesses, the police deployed tear gas and in an attempt to disperse the protestors outside of the building.

A reporter for NBC4 said protestors also set off smoke devices.

Police appeared to have made several arrests. The protest is happening near the site of a pro-Trump event dubbed the DeploraBall.
