In Maryland, students posed as their vice principal's twin 9-year-old daughters on pedophile websites, saying they had been having sex with their father and were looking for a new partner.
Elsewhere, students have logged on to neo-Nazi and white supremacist sites claiming to be a Jewish or minority teacher and inciting the groups' anger. Others have stolen photographs from teachers' cellphones and posted them online.
"The ways they provoke teachers are limited only by their imaginations," said lawyer Parry Aftab, who described the above cases as just a few of the hundreds she's handled.
Compared with those, what happened to Klein in Greece, N.Y., a suburb of Rochester, was mild, Aftab said.

And some of this shite is incredibly hard to stop. It may resurface over and over.
There are some mean little bastids out there. It only takes one to post this kind of stuff and begin the horror.

(826 posts)those children learn about the pedophile site and incest in the first place? What did their parents teach them that they could even conceive of behaving in such a manner? The disrespect is now global it seems and the GOP is largely at fault for the zeitgeist that condones this attitude.

(36,827 posts)Sheriff Joe initiated completely bogus investigations of child molestation against his political rivals. As if this weren't repulsive enough, you have the complete republican establishment preventing him from being held responsible.

(26,076 posts)Male AND female. Two notorious cases in Virginia and Georgia, which went to trail, but there are many others. Even after the teachers are exonerated, their careers are ruined, their finances gone, and often their children have been taken away and they've been divorced.
Inside the classroom? It is horrible.
I am very glad I teach adults.

(3,186 posts)compared to when I was growing up. The worst thing I can remember my classmates doing was putting whoopee cushions in teacher's chairs, and some kind of plastic fake vomit on their desks.
I feel so sorry for teachers these days. Thankless job, their unions under attack, and certainly not nearly enough pay.
