LET'S FIRE ALL THE FIREFIGHTERS - GOP

Colorado burns and so does a lot of the west. There are 9 fires in Colorado on this Saturday. Fortunately the Estes Park fire was put out after 16 homes burned. That is not the end of the story. There are nearly 2000 federal firefighters on the line at one fire alone. And there are 7 other fires in the state. Meanwhile 2 of our 9 aircraft have been sent to Grand Junction. And the fire bombers have been flying morning until dusk for more than a week now. Three of them taking off and landing about every 30 minutes.

LET'S FIRE THE LAZY GOVERNMENT WORKERS. Except that the pilots work work for a contractor. I bet they get no retirement and few benefits. Certainly there is no pension for them except Social Security and Medicare. But wait the GOP wants to end all that too.

200 homes gone. Over 1000 evacuations ordered at this point. And many cannot go home indefinitely. LETS FIRE THE FIRE FIGHTERS. THE LAZY BUMS ARE USELESS. The fire is still burning. It should be out by now.

Those government employees just suck off the taxpayer and provide little in return. That's the way the GOP sees it.

LET IT BURN. LET IT BURN. We don't need no more blood sucking firefighters. Get rid of the police too. We don't have no money. Obama is a spend and tax communist.

JUST GIVE THE MONEY TO THE GOD DAMNED BILLIONAIRES LIKE THE KOCH BROTHERS AND THEIR FRIENDS. They will save America. These job creators will bring prosperity once we have no police, fire fighters or public servants.

While America burns and the economy burns these scumbags are meeting in a swank resort planning how they will take over the country and run it THEIR WAY. There will be feathers in every pot. Forget the chickens.

4. I just now saw firefighters at work.

About a half hour ago I heard sirens, something coming down my street. The sirens kept coming; I figured something was up so I went outside to look. Sure enough, there was a house fire about half a block around the corner, and as I walked down the block I saw there were four or five fire trucks and other emergency vehicles along the street, and a bunch of firefighters with axes and hoses and all that regalia. There was a lot of smoke but apparently the fire was already out by the time I (and a zillion other neighbors) got close enough to see what was going on. I couldn't tell if anyone had been hurt - I hope not - but at least those "lazy, overpaid government employees" had put the fire out. It's nice to know that if you have a fire a whole buttload of people will show up to put it out - at least for now. Your tax dollars at work, stupid GOPers.
