I don't get it either. We are adults and know we have to be careful. But that doesn't mean we should cower in fear at every rumor on the internet.

They've been brainwashed into believing liberals are p- well, you know. It's not true. We don't intimidate so easily nor back down because what we fight for isn't about us, it's bigger than that. It's about justice, fairness and caring for your fellow human being.

We know how their unopposed demonstrations against Obama went, the truckers shutting down the I-495 beltway and the million gunloons marching north from VA. Yeah, maybe a half dozen showed up and then looked at each other and slunk silently away.

They're a bunch of chest thumping cowards who can't be bothered to turn up. While a few people might get hurt by the usual
assortment of muggers and pickpockets, none of it will be organized mayhem.

The inauguration is another matter, especially if the Meathead Wall actually manages to show up. My hope is that Jupiter Pluvius arrives early and drives everybody indoors.

Don't expect much from the alt-right. Most of them are total losers who know if they ever did anything to attract real world notice, the women who are supporting them would notice they aint workin' and throw them out.

The come in super handy and it's probably the only item you can carry through security without getting into trouble.

Another handy tip: Coca Cola is great to soothe your skin after exposure to pepper spray. I'm not trying to scare away but just pass on a tip.

and have yet to encounter pepper spray. We have a pretty good police chief who knows what she's doing.

The Women's March organizers have been working very closely with the Park and Metro police to have this event go off without a hitch.

I don't know what this fear-mongerimg is that Malaise is referring to but I have no doubt the march will not have a problem.

I've been attending protests since 04. The protesters are mostly grey hairs, lots if women.

Pepper spray and tear gas are for non-permitted violent disurbances. Stop being ridiculous.

I'm bringing a pink hat and s pink sign that says women's issues are American issues, and women are not a special interest group.

I would encourage MORE people to go out to march. Strength lies in numbers, and we have the moral authority here. That should buck anybody up.
