Talked to a friend today about going to my local woman's march on Saturday

She told me she has some relatives who are hard right wing thump supporters who are on Facebook and they are talking in right wing blogshere about how they are going to try to disrupt our peaceful marches.

My friend told me to write my information in a shapie on my arm and to bring a scarf to cover my mouth in case we get tear gassed. I said "this is in San Francisco it won't turn into a melee". She said if you saw the stuff the right wingers are posting how they are going to "hunt liberals" on Saturday and that thump can call out the national guard to repel us. She warned me of rubber bullets and horses trampling protesters. It cause me a pause hearing this but I will still march on Saturday. And my friend is a big liberal herself she's not marching on Saturday.

Has anyone else heard this type of chatter?

Going to our march in Pittsburgh. I quit Facebook before the election because of all the horrible postings. We cannot live in fear...we will be defeated if we do.

The president appoints DC's NG commander so in effect the President can call out the DC Guard...all 2,700 of them between the Army and the Air Guard.

They did find one cache of guns last week. I think that the NYC March might be interesting, they march on Trump Tower.
