and withdrew her complaint.

The Trump U case was settled for peanuts.

I think others are being quietly settled.

Don't count on litigation to rid of us this monstrosity.

It was a $25 million settlement. Given that the amount alleged to have been paid by students was $40 million and it would have cost a lot of money to pursue the litigation, without any absolute certainty of victory and with several years of delay before even a winning verdict would be paid, it's a reasonable result for the plaintiffs.

How much of his fortune was paid out? How much had Trump scammed from them over the years?

To Trump, it was peanuts. For people who got scammed, it was peanuts. The only people who are happy with it are the lawyers.

But that's just another way of saying that if the case had gone to trial and a verdict rendered against Trump it would have amount to peanuts.

In any event, the lawyers waived their legal fees. $21 million goes to the students, and $4 million goes to the states that participated in the suits. Students that joined the class action will get anywhere from 1/2 to all of their payments reimbursed. That level of settlement is highly unusual in a class action, where payments of 25 cents or less on the dollar are commonplace.

Finally, it estimated that Trump pocketed $5 million in profit from the operations of Trump U, so a $25 million payout is pretty impressive.

All of this was reported at the time, but if you want to make up your own facts, I can't stop you.
