How convenient of the Supreme Court to time their health care ruling for the Monday news cycle

Just in time to dominate a week of coverage and coincide with the 'get Eric Holder" nonsense.

Yep, no rightwing judicial activism to see here.

IMO that would blow Holder off the airwaves. The media either can't or won't cover Raine Jun 2012 #6

I figure they'll release ACA decision on Thursday, then disappear for their recess.

And, of course, they never actually disappear; they're always available for scheduling and other urgent matters. They could use a break, of course; been a pretty busy session.

Its TRADITIONAL that most decisions are released on Mondays; some are released on Thursdays.

As to the 'get Eric Holder' nonsense, THAT is ALL up to the damned repug dominated Congress, timed perfectly to interfere with DOJ's efforts against repug's anti-voting plans. I doubt, however, that it will in fact interfere with that (except in the media.)

These are the two 'non argument' days on the Court's calendar.

Also, could a good Democratic response help control it or do they have to just go with the flow?

If it were me, on ACA I would start talking 24/7 on what the American people have lost. Holder may be more difficult to control.

Since everything Obama does is going to be called political anyway, what could he do to attempt to trump the news? Even if it is political.

If it's not, the media will cease to give any shits about Holder and make the ruling into an Obamapocalyspe or something like that. The double standards of the MSM never surprise me.
