And then Trump gave him a song and dance about wanting to extend voting rights. If it was up to Trump there would be no elections at all.
Truth.

Tell him your sick or dead or drop dead.
They just troop in there to kiss the maggots ring.

(3,580 posts)He barely left the golden elevator of doom, no comments to the press, barely spoke to mlk3, couldn't wait for the doors to close. There was no grandstanding, back slapping or claims of "my Africa American". I don't know what was said but it didn't turn out the way trumped wanted which I suspect he thought mlk3 was going to announce how great Trump is for the blacks. No photo op.

(3,739 posts)at least he didn't sing Trumps praises. He also didn't act like he believed Trump was going to do anything for voting rights just because he might have acted like he might during their meeting. MLK III talked about how we need to pay attention and continue to fight for those things. And he didn't let Trump come with him when he left and talked to the press. He chose his words very carefully and basically stayed on his own agenda of voting rights. If after Trump "invited" him to come and then he didn't, we would be hearing the Trump shills and Repubs whining about it.
