I just sent an email to my Congressman

to tell him if he attended Trump's inauguration I would never vote for him again. His response was a form letter which didn't indicate he had read or considered the content of my comment. That is exactly what I expected. I want to encourage everyone here to send such an email to their Congressperson if they have not yet done so.

However that only makes it more dishonest that "he" sent me an email asking for mine. And the answer I received was signed by "him".

I know the reality is that if you want the attention of a member of Congress, the first thing you need to do is put $200,000.00 in cash in a briefcase...

If you want to influence the politicians in the political party that you are registered, you have withhold one or more of the three fuels. If you are a common Repuke voter, you need to find some other Repuke voters in your district who will combine with you to act. Change your party registrations. Send letters signed by all to your US representative and senator, governor, state rep. and senator that states what you have dropped the party, why, and indicate a willingness to reconsider when you see a voting record that you like. For example, you want to see that these pols were pro-ACA or a better replacement on every vote and every speech. Also, send letters to the editors of your local newspapers, call local TV reporters, etc. to distribute your message. When enough of you do this, your politicians will adapt to your position. Sending complaint letters is a huge waste of effort. Remember: they don't care about you, but they do care about the votes of many people. If you don't act as a gang, your acts have no influence. Fifty or more people signed on a single letter in congressional district gets attention. The process must spread to get more gangs sending letters.

If you are giving them sex or money, send the lucky recipients of your largess a letter telling them that they are cut off until you see the voting record that you want. That's how the big sponsors do it.

Dear Senator Nelson,
From media reports, I know that our electoral system has been influenced both within and by outside sources. Please stand up to these influences and refuse to attend in general support of Representative Lewis. I am a very loyal Democratic voter and will support those who this defend our constitution against the subversion of our democratic process.
I called his coral Gables location and 305 536 5999 and DC @ 202 5274, I left the above message if you are form his district makes sure to leave you zip code. they do listen to the phones and if you can he has offices all over the state

I doubt any legislator will make such a decision based on public opinion. They've been hired to be there, after all.
