GOOD! Crowley to forgo post in Trump White House

Crowley to forgo post in Trump White House
By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times
Monday, January 16, 2017

GOP foreign policy adviser Monica Crowley said Monday she will relinquish the senior job she’d been poised to take in the Trump White House.

Ms. Crowley, who had been tapped to be senior director of strategic communications at the National Security Council, had been dogged in recent weeks by questions about whether she lifted portions of her past written work from other writers. Her move seemed designed to keep that from becoming a distraction as the Trump team prepares to take office.

I wouldn't want to work for the crazy, spittle-hate, whack-a-doodle guy who is going to convince Trump to nuke Iran, either....

Having the destruction of the world on your shoulders is a weighty thing.

Maybe her brother in law, Alan Colmes, has prodded her moral compass sufficiently to get it pointing in the right direction.

I never watch Fox, so this is a surprise. I guess obscurity was too much for Dennis and he had to do whatever he could to be back in the public eye. Sad. (as the OrangeAnus would say)

It also points out an interesting discrepancy. Of all the many unqualified and or ethically compromised people Trump has appointed, this woman is the only one who is not given a pass.

It would seem that All the President's Men can do whatever they want, but the girls must remain virginal. Just saying (as a sort of talking point in advance of our Women's March this weekend.)

See how that goes, kids?

It's a stretch with his crew, but you never know.

She might be an actual flag-waving patriot (notwithstanding her crazy wingnutty ideas) who doesn't like the idea of being a vassal of the Russians and doesn't want to work for that insane fuckwit who's Pootie's best bud.

We will just move on. Republicans wouldn't stop going after her until she lost her degree, was pulled in front of a committee under oath with the goal of getting her to commit perjury, and harming any chance she had at a successful future.

If she merely erred in a series of footnotes, the document should be annotated and corrected and her grade lowered. That's a call for the school to make, though.

That said, the school would be more likely to do it with pressure. Freepers are relentless with this type of thing.
