Letter sent to my congressman about the ACA

My congressman is Jeb Hensarling (TX-05) also chairman of the House Finance committee. BTW: His FB page is heavily peppered with comments from people, who are appalled at losing their healthcare. I just sent him the following message. Feel free to cut, edit, paste and send to your congressman:

--------
"What happens to someone with Lupus, or diabetes, or cancer or asthma, or heart disease, when you take away their prescription coverage and healthcare? Should they depend on Franklin Graham or Joel Osteen for thought and prayers, when they are grasping for air? It's easy to tear something down, but you promised to replace it with something better. You've had 8 years to think about a replacement. So what have you got?

Americans are going to die for the same reasons that young mothers are dieing in Texas, because republicans took away funding for healthcare. You're not being responsible. You're being a criminal and terrorist.

You don't give a damn about your constituents. You only serve Wall Street, insurance companies, for-profit hospitals, and Big Pharma. You disgust me. "

I have heart disease. My last hospital stay was over $30,000, which was paid my medicare. If the GOP follows thru with privatizing medicare, it will be a death sentence for me.

Seniors have to buy private insurance to cover the remaining 20%. That costs me about $100 per month deducted from my social security. My Dr visits are a $25 co-pay. My co-pay for visits to my heart hospital are $75. I'm grateful for what I have. And pissed those GOP criminals want to destroy it.

We get 1 free checkup Dr visit per year. Dental is not included. Yes, I don't want to bash Dems either. But we keep electing these people. We don't just get snokered once. We keep electing them over and over and over. The fault is entirely ours.

I'd also like to say that I paid for medicare and social security my entire working life. They aren't freebie benefits. I paid for them. The republicans say that medicare and social security are going broke, and that's why they have to be reformed. That is a god-damed lie. Republicans never ever mention that George W. Bush borrowed' $1.37 trillion of Social Security surplus revenue to pay for his tax cuts for the rich and his war in Iraq. That money has never been paid back.

Injection of some sort. Every year, she has to apply with our insurance for an override of some sort for them to keep covering it. Her Doc has to fill out reams and reams of paperwork, submit MRIs and who knows what all else for this process.

They denied it 2x so far for 2017.

Shes really scared right now.

Huge amount of $ involved but she is 100% reliant.

I am not. I never got into those drugs as I suspected it could change and I would not be able to afford them.

As it now stands I think there is one or two doctors left here and none of them like paperwork involved and are taking no more patients.

It is really scary
