for the appropriate occasions, of course, or was it invented to honor Mr. T?

(80,708 posts)I fear that this whole "it is getting increaingly difficult to tell actual reality from an elaborate practical joke" thing is only gonna get worse over the next four years, too.

(14,855 posts)I heard that term as a kid decades ago.
I think it's considered a "vulgar" way to describe it, but maybe I'm wrong?
Don't feel bad. I always seemed to be the last person to have ever heard various sex-related terminology when I worked at a factory. A gay co-worker told another co-worker that he wanted to "toss my salad." I was informed and just walked away confused. I mentioned it days later to another co-worker and he busted out laughing, saying "You don't know what that means, do you?" He explained it and my initial reaction was, "That's unsanitary!!"
The factory co-workers always seemed to know the meaning of "duck butter" and all kinds of weird sex-related terminology before me. It was about the only thing most of them seemed "educated" about! Little else!

(14,855 posts)I thought it might be referencing something sexual when I first heard it, but the timing was bad because we had a food carry-in about a week earlier and I brought macaroni salad.
Lots of people there got a kick out of me not knowing about that stuff.

Not sure I care to be enlightened.

I double-majored in math and physics, and I'm generally curious about all kinds of scholarly matters, so working there was a kind of torture for me.

(61,919 posts)The term is a familiar one on the kinky side.
It's a common fetish, especially in porn.
...not that I have experienced it personally.
