Pessimistic Prediction: How Trump will make this go away
Repeat of an old Rove trick. Here's what to expect if I'm right:
A tape allegedly show Trump with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel leaks. It's darkly lit and inconclusive, but it gets widely discussed and media mention. A day or two later, proof that the tape is fake surfaces. This would be child's play for Putin's boys to arrange.
After the video is proven to be fake, NOTHING else matters. No amount of evidence that Trump colluded with the Kremlin will ever be discussed in the media after that. Every this will be considered tainted.
Consider what happened to Dan Rather and any discussion of Bush's AWOL problem after one document's authenticity came into question. The strength of all other evidence was simply ignored and the problem went away.
If that does not work, there is always the "Reichsstadt Fire" ploy.
