Correct me if need be, the word "Deplorables" was specifically for hate groups

The wingnuts have gone to town accusing us of applying it to everybody voting against us. It was for the Skinheads, Nazis, fascists, KKK, etc.

The *rest* of the R-voters might have been some economically depressed and others who might have been disaffected on social issues, not to mention being gullible about wingnut talking points.

This is one of the wingnut fallacy talking points, others being that DRUMPF won a smashing mandate and that the empty Red land mass on the map is bigger than the Blue heavily populated area.

You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic -- you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people -- now 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks -- they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America."

But a lot of others don't, whatever side they're on. (The assumption being on the part of many that only racists/etc. would vote for Trump. Or, on the other side of the aisle, they only heard a four- or five-word blip of what she said. Or heard it hearsay.)

defines them--"The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic.."
So there may be a few Trump voters who don't fit into one of those
categories.
The mandate--ridiculous--nuff said.
And the Red land mass versus the Blue area?
The wingnuts don't understand how the rural states are more heavily weighted
electorially (is that a word?) than the blue.
