Bill Moyer, 73, wears a "Bullshit Protector" flap over his ear while President George W. Bush, on screen at rear, addresses the Veterans of Foreign Wars at their 106th convention Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, in Salt Lake City. Moyer served in Korea and Vietnam, and in the post-WWII occupation of Germany.

Good used copies of the following 2 books are available for pennies. The one on ethics is always the first one that I recommend. You don't have to be a Buddhist to understand or practice compassion and ethical behavior.

"Beyond Religion: Ethics for the Whole Word" "

"How to Practice: The Way to a Meaningful Life"

And because I live just north of Seattle (which will soon be in reach and a prime target for North Korean ICBMs), all it's going to take, I fear, is Little Kim tweet-trashing the Orange Idiot and all bets are off as the missiles fly out of their silos.

It's the difference between having no options and having people there to give when we have and get when we need.
