Juan Williams: 'It's Really Up to Donald Trump to Prove He's Legitimate'

Fox’s The Five debated Congressman John Lewis‘ remarks that Donald Trump is not a “legitimate president,” leading Juan Williams to say the onus of legitimacy is on Trump himself.
Williams recalled comments by Republicans early on in President Obama‘s term before saying, “It’s really up to Donald Trump to prove he’s legitimate.”
His co-hosts immediately went off, with Greg Gutfeld jokingly asking if Trump needs to provide his birth certificate. He also argued that liberals might be “scared of falling in love” with Trump because he might end up being more centrist than they think.
Williams insisted that it’s legitimate to say the Russians were involved in interference of some kind, and he pointed to Trump’s popular vote loss.
