...maybe a committee like Salter suggests would be a good thing. But Trump *cannot* become President until this is sorted out. Maybe the GOP and the Dems would agree to let Biden be Interim President until we know for sure whether the incoming President is a traitor or not...? We are in utterly uncharted constitutional waters. We need some solution that maintains the spirit of the Constitution, even if it bends the letter of it...

...I have never doubted his integrity. He and Lindsey Graham are the last of the Republicans who I think are primarily motivated to work in what they believe is the national interest. I have never thought of John McCain as evil. Wrong, but not evil.

We can only hope that his former chief of staff represents McCain's current views.
