A New Bill Introduced in Congress Would Constitute a Total Abortion Ban

As the article points out, it won't get passed in the house, but defeat in either houses won't stop the likes of King from trying..

“Since Roe v. Wade was unconstitutionally decided in 1973, nearly 60 million innocent babies’ lives have been ended by the abortion industry, all with a rubber stamp by the federal government,” King said in a Thursday press release from his office. “If a heartbeat is detected, the baby is protected.”

King reportedly worked on the bill with Janet Porter of Faith2Action; per Rewire, “the congressman’s spokesperson said Porter persuaded King to act while both attended the funeral of Phyllis Schlafly.”

H.R. 490 is similar to the Ohio’s “heartbeat bill,” which failed when Governor John Kasich vetoed the portion that would restrict abortion at six weeks (a 20-week ban was still instituted). "

Lots of people come to mind who I can thank for this. King and his merry band of Woman Haters will keep trying. If King is ever successful, and you're desperate and pregnant, remember you can always contact Susan Sarandon who I'm sure will foot the bill for whatever advice, counselling or medical procedures you may need.

If you don't want abortions to happen do everything you can to prevent unplanned, unwanted pregnancy. Things like fact based sex education in middle and high school and access to effective, inexpensive birth control. But the same folks that are against abortion are against those things. They need to just tell the truth, as they see it. "If you are a single woman, and you have sex, pregnancy is your punishment for that act. It's your loose morals that are luring men to behave in immoral ways. Because, you know, men are weak and can't control themselves."

Deny birth control , force women to carry to term, then deny health insurance and let them die. Pro life?
