Jan 2017

Toby Keith's career would have been just fine without his 9/11 song.

And out of the 40 - 50 or so hit songs that Toby made from like 1993-2012, only a few had that kind of edgy patriotism to them. Maybe a few more on top of that had deeply conservative themes (such as Beer For My Horses being an ode to the death penalty).

3 Doors Down is a Rock band that was decently popular from 2000-2004. They're best known for they're songs "Kryptonite", "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You". Their last charting song was in 2011.

And by ignorant I mean someone who doesn't know things, not as an insult. Harry Belafonte is a quintessential fighter for equal rights for all races and genders. He spent his entire life fighting for human rights. Not only here but in other countries too.

If he's silent then his silence is worth a million words. His very presence says it all.

Jennifer Holliday has canceled her appearance at Donald Trump’s inauguration event next week, calling her decision to perform a “lapse of judgement.”

In an open letter, provided exclusively to TheWrap, the “Dreamgirls” star apologized to the LGBT community, saying she was “uneducated on the issues that affect every American at this crucial time in history and for causing such dismay and heartbreak to my fans.”

The Tony and Grammy winner came under fire from some of her fans on Friday after it was announced that she was set to perform at a concert as part of Trump’s inauguration festivities.

Holliday, considered a longtime LGBT ally, explained that she changed her mind after reading a Friday Daily Beast story titled, “Jennifer Holliday Will Perform at Trump’s Inauguration, Which Is Heartbreaking to Gay Fans.”
