She would take old tires from my dad's tractor, paint them silver, and put them in the yard as raised-bed planters. She won Yard of the Month once in our little town, she was so proud.

I love the idea of turning them inside out to make a more rounded bowl, how fun is that! You'd never know it had been a tire.

I just spent $50 on annuals, but they'll be going in boring ol' pots. My HOA would have fits over lime green tires in the front yard.

with green/purple/lime evergreens; I think I could squeeze in a couple of these tires and plant with seasonals. Great, another project! LOL
