It's prison slang for a child molester. It's probably the lowest form of prison life in the hierarchy of inmates.

Humane and legal. Possibly he'll be kept in solitary away from other inmates, and giving details to professionals for intake. He may even get bail, there will be an appeal,

He may be put in a mental ward to see why he didn't take the whole thing seriously. Denial of guilt or refusal to accept responsibility and seek help in such cases is up to a certain point legally has been used, rightly or wrongly, cause for more detention beyond standard sentencing.

They will investigate his mental state to see what an appropriate sentence would be. He has not been sentenced yet and may be sent to live in a mental hospital for the equivalent length of a prison term.

It's ineffective to build up our lust for vengeance with this man, or outrage for what the system will do with him, when the purpose here is to keep him off the streets to protect others. He may never wear the stereotypical orange suit or be subjected to some of the horrors some might entertain for him.

His victims may begin making their motions to be made as whole as possible from their years of being denied justice and the psychological impact of his abuse and the community going to bat for their abuser and slut shaming them.

I doubt he will suffer more than shock and he should not be. That won't undo the years of damage, which is not his burden alone to pay. The case is bigger than one man. The town, the state, the institutions enabled this man. There were probably others.

We are furious at him when we think of these children, those we know who have been abused and those we would kill someone to prevent being abused. He is not Hitler, he is not the Devil. He's a sociopath and there are plenty of those walking the street in positions of power like Ryan, Romney and Boehner, who have done and are doing more damage to children that this creature ever could.

This goes on all over the world, it is going on right now in the USA and probably almost every nation on Earth. This case was good in that it brought world attention. It showed an underside to the powerful in this country that needs to be exposed all over the world. JMHO.

Everyone keeps asking, "How could those around him not know?!"

They DID know! When the book is finally written on this horrible man it will be seen that all his big-time friends were partaking in his "Second Mile" charity in the most heinous way possible.

Our society is corrupt beyond redemption - the underside to the powerful is thoroughly rotten.

We must prepare a new way.

The judge denied him bail and denied him home arrest - so they took him to the 'jail' tonight after the verdict was read.
So, unless he ends up in the hospital he'll be at the jail for around three months.
