What really needs to happen, but never, ever, ever, ever will.

1. Immediately upon being inaugurated, the House of Representatives drafts impeachment charges against Donald Trump for collusion with the Russian government, Trump is impeached, and the Senate votes to remove him from office.

2. Upon taking office, President Mike Pence names as his Vice President....Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

3. As a means to save face, President Pence, realizing that he is tainted fruit and was part of an illicit campaign that involved a candidate for President conspiring with a malicious foreign government, submits his resignation to the American people and leaves office.

4. The 47th President of the United States and the choice of the American people in terms of popular vote in the 2016 election, Hillary Rodham Clinton, is inaugurated into office. And a gross wrong against the country is constitutionally righted.

I'm going to save everyone the effort and admit no chance in hell this would ever, ever happen. Seriously, no chance. Mainly because it would involve Mike Pence and the Republicans doing the right thing and that's just not going to happen. Never. Nada.

But damn, it would be a super satisfying dream if there ever was one.

Although when the dust is settled from the disaster that is Trump, perhaps it will be amended.

isn't in it up to his eyeballs? I find it hard to believe there aren't a number of people on the good ship Trump. May it have the same good fortune as the Titanic on her maiden voyage.

The President doesn't "pick" his VP in case of a vacancy. He (or she) nominates them.

I think we should expect them to do the patriotic thing. If they do not, their credibility will vanish. Te will be a party of the alt right and a bunch of insane billionaires, plus miscellaneous stray cranks.

McConnell had the opportunity to save his party by being truthful--instead he placed all of us in grave danger.

We know everything about Hillary Clinton. She is not compromised-the Russians would have released anything they had on her or Kaine.

We know the Russians have hacked Republicans We don't know whether any, most, or all of them have been compromised.
