Franken is showing Beauregard's commitment to voting rights is iffy at best.

one of Sessions’s signature efforts as a prosecutor was an attempt to convict three voting-rights activists on charges of fraud for assisting elderly voters in filling out ballots

He's so great, so sharp, so well informed, and so damned funny. How is he not the public and prominent face of the current Democratic party? Especially over many of the...ahem....less than engaging people we have out there now.

funniest president ever, I'll bet Al would be at least a 9. I almost peed myself when I saw Al mocking GWB when he landed on the deck of the Lincoln and declared "Mission Accomplished."

He seems to have a great deal of integrity and backbone. I wish he would come out of the shadows more often.

to his constituents and the Democratic Party if his kept a low profile. He wasn't one to be popping up on late night shows or political talking head cable.

...generally, it's a loving confirmation hearing. Bottom line, Sessions says he will follow all the laws because they are the laws, not because he agrees with them. He will find laws against voting and human rights and the Trump team will provide new ones, too...

...Al does not "do" the news talk show circuit regularly. He will appear only occasionally. He's no John McCain, who must be seen more frequently than Lucille Ball.
