In red states.

They've had six years to come up with a replacement and all they've done is vote to repeal.

Wanna bet there was unusual shorting activity on this industry?

Also, consider the lawsuits that will be filed - by everyone in the system - if it is repealed. The system will be in turmoil for years. But, then again, it was going to be in turmoil for years anyway. At this point, the more turmoil the better. It's the only thing his moronic supporters might understand - when they lose everything - medicaid, obamacare, food stamps. section 8 housing, SS disability payments, women's health care, etc.

ACA plans. Here is the real thing that bothers the Insurance Companies, about 5%of the population uses the largest portion of Medical Services. Which under ACA they can not be discriminated against. Because this group contains the most unhealthy and disabled among us. This is the Group the Republican Party wants to get rid of simply they cost their benefactors to much Profit.

... that the insurance companies actually appreciate the ACA.

It certainly pulled their feet out of the fire, and maybe they don't want to go back to the way it was.

The ACA was, after all, crafted as an alternative to intensely socialized medicine following Canadian or European models.

The only thing the health insurance industry seems to care about is the size of their revenue streams. The bigger the stream, the more money they can siphon off.

The ACA only enhanced those streams.
