Public assistance and Repub perception

Here's the "formulas" as I see them.

Repub think:

Welfare = lazy = people of color = abusing the system = of course they are taking drugs = drug test them.

Reality:

Welfare = all races = most assistance goes to women with dependant children, the disabled, and the elderly.

I understand the word "welfare" is pretty vague but I'm hoping my formulas are accurate.
What do you think?

Welfare : goes to lazy and greedy corporations who will not pay their people a livable wage and force them to seek assistance.

They are the true Welfare Queens.

When someone who is Republican does go on government assistance, its ok. Because they work and pay into the system unlike those lazy freeloaders who never worked.

When you ask who those freeloaders are, expect a racist comment, derogatory remark about inner cities, etc. But good hard working white Christian people always deserve it...because they work hard. Unlike <insert nasty remark> here.

Our county commissioners, all Republicans, are charged with oversight of the county's social services mechanisms, including the dispensing of SNAP (food stamps). Thus, with reliable predictability, those offices have already sent letters to those who rely on Social Security benefits, noting that a $3 Social Security COLA is a windfall and, accordingly, decreases SNAP benefits by $8.

Heard this from a Relative, but what the hell, they want those FOLKS to move somewhere else SO'S they don't got to pay for them. Actual response from a County Commissioner.

Did Volunteer work with ACORN years back. Here is a hard fact, the largest number of people on Assistance were in two groups. One was Elderly White Widows living in Assisted Living Centers or Nursing Homes. Second Group was Single Mothers with Children. And the Second segment break down was more White house holds over all others. This is 1990's time frame. And this was in a Midwestern Major City.
