I would never patronize her Freeport restaurant, but I'll continue to buy LL Bean merchandise.

One kook in the family doesn't make the whole barrel rotten.

That's how Bean made its reputation -- by replacing anything defective.

Linda Bean is a horrible smear on the rest of the family. This is a really tough situation for the liberal members of the Bean family -- treat her like the family she is or banish her to Siberia?

She is on the board of directors, so I will stand by my decision to stop purchasing from them. I sent an email to their customer support address last week and received their stock reply today.

There are other retailers to choose from. From this point forward, I will not be able to see the LL Bean brand without thinking of Trump.

which is a shame as they occasionally offer plaid flannel shirts in my family tartan and I had planned to get one the next time they went on sale. But now, even if it's just one Bean in the pod, It just wouldn't feel good to me.

I like the Duluth Trading company commercials - they're funny. I'll see what they are up to.

and I suspect the rest of the family thinks Linda Bean is a kook. Now they all have to suffer.

I think it'd be better to boycott Linda Bean's personally held companies like "Linda Bean's Perfect Maine."

a couple have a wacko....can't get rid of them...cause you know...family

so you put them somewhere where the damage can be minimized

sounds like this is what they did...when you have a lemon.....seems the steps taken to keep krazy kin out of the limelight did not work. they got some damage control to do
