Please help!

As most of you know, Bob Welch, formerly of Fleetwood Mac died on June 7th. He and his wife have been close friends of mine for many years. I just got off the phone with Wendy, and she asked me to spread the word to help Bob get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was passed over unfairly because of a falling out with some of the band members, probably due to his law suit for royalties owed.

Bob was a very active member, and I think one of the earliest members, of moveon.org. He was a devoted Democrat and we loved discussing politics and the direction of our country.

I implore everyone to take a few seconds and sign the petition to get him inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Please help and pass it on to your friends and family!

Driving around in my Datsun 510, going to parties, that tape was the background of my early years.

One bad one was The Outlaws- green grass and high tides. I remember breaking up with a girlfriend, and there was a live concert going on. It was so odd to be unhappy while I could hear people listening to that song and having fun off in the distance.

Or really good one. Allman Brothers - Jessica. I was driving down the road after having dinner with my parents, just coming on to some acid. Going to a party. And the Summer sun was setting with a glare in my windshield. There was something so beautiful about the whole scene.

Let me tell you, I still listen to his music from my old cassettes. One of my Bob Welch albums was replaced by a CD version, I loved it so much.

Very happy to sign -- thanks!

Please pass on my condolences to his family. He was one of the best.

There are lots of music lovers on Radioparadise forums. I'd suggest going there and asking them too.
