I have been numb since Nov. 8th.

Tonight at dinner my husband remarked that I seemed to be in a bad mood. Bad mood?!? Who, me? Because
the country is about to go down the toilet? Because half the people who voted in the country are racist, sexist,
stupid, greedy morons? Because my anxiety level is through the roof with Trump holding the nuclear codes?
Because our youngest son (in 3rd year of grad school) won't discuss his future plans
with us regarding whether he plans to continue and do a PhD (and will thus continue to need financial support) or get a job
when he finishes in May? Because he (my husband) is in the early stages of Lewy Body Dementia? Because I have
a knee that is bone on bone and going to need a knee replacement? Because I would like to sell our house and move
to a tropical island and he (my husband) won't do it? Because I wonder whether he will take the Robin Williams' exit
strategy or let the disease play out to the bitter end? Because I have NO idea what to expect in my life over the next
few years?

I could go on, but damn, it just feels like perpetual root canals in store. And yes, I've pretty much been in a bad mood
for two months and see no end in sight.

I've had several root canals, and all of them have been painless. Yes, a PITA to sit in the chair so long, but painless (and some of my teeth had FOUR canals).

12. Likewise here. I am the root canal queen unfortunately!! LOL

I used the sedation after the last one just for anxiety, and I highly recommend it.

Too bad there is nothing we can take to ease the anxiety of Trump which is very real, very reasonable, and very hard to try not to think about.

I had an abscess all weekend until I could see someone today.

Still not as bad as what is coming.
