Condoleezza Rice endorses Sessions for attorney general

that's Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, condi.

Washington (CNN)Condoleezza Rice, who served as secretary of state to former President George W. Bush, endorsed former Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions Monday to be President-elect Donald Trump's attorney general.

Rice, who is also from Alabama, wrote a letter of appreciation to Sen. Chuck Grassley about Sessions, where she said that Sessions, a "friend," was someone she admired "greatly."

"He is a man who is committed to justice and knows that law and order are necessary to guarantee freedom and liberty," she wrote.

Rice, the first African-American woman to serve as secretary of state, also said that Sessions has worked hard to heal the wounds in Alabama brought on by the "prejudice and injustice against the descendents of slaves."

This is about being in The Club.

Sessions is in the club, because he's been a senator a long time. He's been doing favors for big corporations for a long time. With him as the AG, he's going to be making decisions that could mean billions of dollars for those same big corporations.

Condoleezza Rice makes her living sitting on the board of directors of many of those same corporations. This is about one hand washing the other. This is about people who are billionaires buying themselves some millionaires by telling them they get to be, and how to be, in The Club.

Someone called in a favor. But all we get to see is the headline
