By going to their Inauguration they are conferring legitimacy on a man who has openly sided with a hostile power against the United States. How can that ever be legitimized?
Some say it's the "classy" thing to do but is it really classy to be deferential to a president who canoodles and collaborates with a hostile foreign power?

(3,975 posts)what Tradition? All out the window now. Up is down. War is peace ....on and on....Russia won our election, Putin should be there. Every DEM there should turn their backs on him. Oh, I know, Dems are too polite.
I was thinking, pass the torch...I wish it were a real one !!! Watch Cheeto melt like the Wicked Witch in Oz.

(46,712 posts)I see the news building up to the moment of the inauguration and someone with authority finally steps up to Trump and says, "You're Fired!" And then trump gets hauled off by marines as Hillary Clinton gets sworn in.
Meanwhile, everyone breaks out in a choreographed dance scene and we realize that ambition did not prevail over love of country.
