It's a rare moment when I feel like stomping on my Senator's face with golf spikes. This is one.

From the New York Times today:

Democrats intend to use all the procedural moves available to slow the process on the Senate floor, possibly spending up to 30 hours per nominee, denying Mr. Trump a full cabinet when he takes office.

Republicans are indignant. “Holding up confirmations just for delay’s sake is irresponsible and it is dangerous,” said Senator John Cornyn, Republican of Texas.

Before permanently rearranging the features of John Cornyn's smug mug, I'd softly whisper in his ear: "Merrick Garland."

I don't know how I'd cope with having one of those lying Rs representing me. And the problem is, while it would be worth telling him he's an asshole to his face, it's not satisfying to yell at someone in his office.

Thank heaven the Dems are going to delay these horrible, horrible nominations. Each one is worse than the last.

I'll be calling my Senators this week, for sure. I can't wait to see Kamala Harris in action.
