for some voters on the left. Obama "didn't do enough," so they'd rather see the country/world blown up. Then we can all be "progressive," those who are left, anyway.

we had Fox entertainment CONSTANTLY tell everyone how all of those things are bad and will take away your freedom your guns your money your religion your privilege and give it all to those "others" who will kill you. I KNOW that Fox entertainment especially and RW radio have deranged this country beyond repair . Now puppet trump and those who put him in power will pound the nail in the coffin. I need to fight back but don't know how.

and I was appalled at his loud, out of control yelling. How can anyone listen to that for a couple of hours? No wonder many of his listeners are so dang angry all the time. And this was after the election.

who stay perpetually angry (-sounding). Yelling, screaming, and foaming at the mouth each of the 2, 3, or 4 hours that they are on the air. And this has been building up for decades. I expect most are on anti-anxiety meds just to get through each day of their "performance", as they have increasingly ratcheted it up to "shock jock" style discourse.

It becomes addictive to a certain type of brain...

George Orwell's 1984:

"The horrible thing about the Two Minutes Hate was not that one was obliged to act a part, but, on the contrary, that it was impossible to avoid joining in. Within thirty seconds any pretence [sic, English spelling] was always unnecessary. A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledge-hammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one's will into a grimacing, screaming lunatic."

will be spinning for the remainder of my life but it shouldn't be because I have a very liberal 35 yr old son who believes Obama is a sell-out and refused to vote for Hillary because he said she was as corrupt as Trump..... so he didn't vote. Yesterday he sent me an email with a link to a petition that was protesting Tillerson as Sec.of State. I told him he was a day late and a dollar short. That is one thing I admire about the right. Those right of center and especially those on the extreme right who didn't get their "pony" have at least enough common sense and pragmatism to come home on election day....and I say this as someone who voted for Sanders in the primary and is probably as liberal as anyone on this board.

but he did, and for Hillary. I was hugely relieved. We were all for Bernie in primaries, except my hubby.. He was with her from the beginning. He used to be a Republican Hillary appealed to him more than any other Dem.. He loves Obama, and, of course, so do I, but his old school Republican ideas give him a different perspective. I don't want to piss anyone off here, because I'm a Democrat since before birth, but both Obama and Clinton are big business friendly and moderate in their support of unions and workers' rights, much like moderate Republicans were back in the 50's and 60's, without the hate and dirty tricks of course.

And I have to add, my husband had a union job most of his life and totally believes in unions, but like I said, he used to be a Republican.. voted for Reagan and has been around long enough to regret it.

That's what the 1% does with thoughts like these. We are all together. Whether or not (and many are NOT) better off than we were a decade or two ago.

Don't play into their hands.

Be happy for those who have gotten theirs fairly or yourself if that's you.

And continue to fight for yours (or others).

So long as anyone in this country is starving, doesn't have a safe place to sleep, is profiled based on their race, nationality, ability or creed, or is harmed or dies for lack of heath care, I don't want to hear about how I should shut up about not getting a fucking pony.

We're all in this together.
