How do we reach out to patriotic Republicans, if such persons exists?

Trumpism must be defeated by any peaceful means necessary. Don't forget the Third Reich began with an electoral plurality for Hitler and his National Socialist party. Drumpf can't even claim that modest treatment.

I am willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with any person of good will, regardless of race, creed, nationality, gender or gender orientation in the battle against Trumpism.

1. Their Patriotism isn't connected to the country

it is connected to their party.

And now to Russia. I'm betting we'll have troops fighting next to Russian troops before long, to "liberate" the parts of the former Soviet Union that Putin wants back (hint: all of them and a bit more territory).

2. Against my better judgement I had it out on FB...

Yesterday with one of those so called Patriots. Subject was PP defunding on a popular female author's website. If his comments were merely anti-abortion and civil I would have let it go. Instead he began to disparage women, the "inner cities' animals" that take his tax dollars, and how proud he was he NEVER used government services. I referred to him politely as Mr. (his FB last name) and began to question his values. Got him to admit that he did not live "off the government grid" is his comfortable suburb of Chicago. Pointed out he used/took many government subsidies and handouts for himself and family to improve his and their lives. Basically said I thought it was unpatriotic and self serving for him to deny those less fortunate access to government services that help provide housing, medical care, and food while he used similar government services provided by tax dollars to live comfortable with his family. Left it alone for several hours and he responded back with a profanity laced tirade. I did not respond back and the thread has since been deleted. Was it worth my time and effort? I do not know, but I definitely struck a nerve, and had him thinking. I bet he discussed my argument with his buddies. I know more than a few FB readers saw the posts before they were taken down.

3. We will begin connecting after Trump orders violent retribution on our fellow Americans

A true dictator will attack his opposition mercilessly, like Duarte or Kim Jong-Un. Make no mistake - we are among Trump's opposition. Unfortunately their realization of what we are all collectively facing will not dawn on them until it is too late and the Trump government massacres some of us. It will not be done en masse at first. Trump will accustom us to it slowly by having people arrested and then having them simply disappear. It will take months for the masses to realize this until the pattern and reality of it become obvious. (I have become very pessimistic of late).

The time to save America has already passed. We, as a country, have already chosen our path. Cherish your loved ones and do your best to survive.

My wife thinks I am hyperbolic over this and she refuses to acknowledge just how abnormal everything is and she is a fellow Democrat. When non-activist Democrats shut us down for sounding the alarm, I expect less from Republicans. I'm not going to reach out to any of them because they are not ready to hear it. Guess most just have to live through it before they realize what has happened.

5. I don't think he believes he will be a dictator

But everything he and the rest of the GOP have been doing recently indicates that they have already begun their rapid descent down that slippery slope.
