When the ones who voted for this creature because the cost of their health insurance continued to go up still does go up, AND they lost the benefits and protections of the ACA.. they'll start to know it.

When they go to the grocery store and find a large number of their staples they live off of has increased in price "bigly" as a result of all that "illegal labor", and the damage to highly beneficial trade deals.. they'll start to know it.

When either they can't make ends meet because those horrible liberal entitlements were killed off, or they find they have to start supporting their parents, grand parents, in-laws etc.. because their horrible liberal entitlements went away.. they'll start to know it.

When they suddenly realize that deporting the "illegal labor" didn't suddenly magically open up that CEO job they thought the orange orangutan would get for them doesn't happen.. maybe the clue will start to be theirs.

The bitter paradox pill... the more successful Trump is, the more they will suffer, and the more we will swing back to putting the adults back in charge, but we still have to fight said success that would likely empower our party because that same success also makes many people suffer.

6. I disagree, I think that the effects will be slower and more damaging

I think it will be a slow awaking. I believe that a lot of safety net programs will be grandfathered in. I also believe many health insurance plans will go down (don't hate me), they will go down by raising deductibles, removing free preventive care, and returning total pay out caps, and all the other nefarious insurance tricks, not standard treatment, drugs not on the formulary list . So at first glance the premiums have gone down, but when you need it (even for a basic check up), you find out exactly how much the total cost has gone up. Back to Social Security, most likely the Ryan plan, (its all on you), again people are going to see an increase in pay and not connect that they are getting the 1/3 more because they will no longer get Social Security and or Medicare and not think about it and start putting it aside, so that disaster will take a decade or so to fully feel the effects.
